Matan brings over 15 years of experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship to Enigma Ventures.

 

Prior to co-founding Enigma, Matan was the Managing Director of Verstra Ventures, a VC arm of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU), a +$100 billion software conglomerate. In that role, Matan was the driving force behind the VC investing initiative and worked with the hundreds of Constellation business in fostering innovation in conjunction with the early-stage companies he invested in through the Verstra.

Prior to Verstra Ventures, Matan spent 7 years building startups as an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor. He was a key player in over 40 investments in various stages and industries globally, including North America, the UK, LATAM and Israel.​

 

Matan graduated from the Schulich School of Business with an International BBA.

Robert leverages his extensive North American network to craft and execute strategic business plans for Enigma Ventures. He spearheads business development initiatives and collaborates with his team to meticulously analyze, structure, and monitor investments. Robert's sharp eye for opportunity and focus on detail make him a trusted advisor, sought after by both investors seeking high-potential ventures and early-stage startups poised for growth.

He invested in several successful businesses and initiatives personally and via his role as VP for Reddick Wellington Investments.

 

Robert holds degrees from Beth Midrash Govoha in New Jersey and the Mir Talmudic Institute in Jerusalem, demonstrating a blend of intellectual rigor and analytical thinking that complements his business acumen.
